Terms and Conditions

Outlined below are the terms and conditions of engaging with FingerprintsParis’ services as a team of Fingerprint Collectors.

  1. The client is responsible for submitting their own fingerprints to the required authority.

  2. The client is responsible for ensuring they are completing the correct fingerprint forms.

  3. The client is responsible for ensuring their fingers are well moisturised before the appointment to ensure the best reading.

  4. For cancellations, no-shows or changes made within 24 hours of the client’s appointment time, a late notice charge will apply. This late notice fee is 30€ (including tax) for one appointment. This is because we often have a waiting list and it’s too short notice to fill the space. If the client is unable to rearrange their appointment, they will be sent an invoice. If they’re able to rebook, the cancellation fee will be added to the total fee at their next appointment.

  5. We (FingerprintsParis) will do our best to ensure the fingerprints are as legible as possible, but cannot be held responsible for illegible prints. If fingerprints collected by us are rejected due to illegibility, we will do them again free of charge at the earliest opportunity providing you can supply written proof of the rejection from the authority.

  6. We will collect prints on two fingerprint forms (for the same authority). This is included in the base cost. If we believe the cards are unlikely to be successful, we will provide the client with a maximum of five fingerprint forms for the same authority to give the client the best chance of success.

  7. We can provide the blank fingerprint forms for the FBI (FD-1164* and FD-258 when required for special circumstances) and RCMP (C-216C), however the client will need to provide any other forms if required. *this is the new form that replaces the FD-258.

  8. The Fingerprint Technicians working under FingerprintsParis are both sole traders and work on a freelance basis. They are responsible for their own financial records and any payment they make is to them as self-employed individuals working under the shared name of FingerprintsParis.
